Charlie Mulgrew should be fit enough to join up with the Scotland squad next week after suffering a blow to the head in the victory against Hearts.

"He wanted to carry on, but I think he was progressively feeling a bit more nauseous" - Neil Lennon
The 26-year-old was withdrawn towards the later stages of the opening half of the 1-0 triumph at Parkhead following an earlier collision with Hearts goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald, who had already been substituted.

"He's a wee bit groggy, but he should be okay to go away next week," manager Neil Lennon told BBC Scotland. "He wanted to carry on, but I think he was progressively feeling a bit more nauseous, but he has been checked out and he is fine."

Meanwhile, skipper Scott Brown missed the game with an ongoing hip problem, although Lennon expects him to be similarly available for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Wales and Belgium.

"He's in a bit of pain again today, but the Wales game isn't until Friday and that'll give him plenty of time to recover," he added.
