Celtic are in discussions with midweek goal hero Tony Watt over extending his contract.

"Tony got the goal which will live long in the memory" - Neil Lennon
The eighteen-year-old marksman struck the winner in the fabulous 2-1 Champions League victory against Barcelona at Celtic Park earlier this week.

That raised his personal tally to five in thirteen appearances this season after also being on target against Dundee United at the weekend. He previously netted twice on his debut as a substitute at Motherwell last term.

"We're hopefully going to get over the line with a new contract for him pretty soon," manager Neil Lennon told BBC Scotland. "Tony got the goal which will live long in the memory. I hope he's not remembered just for that. I want him to have a really successful career."
