Celtic ready for domestic return

Celtic return to league action following the glories of their unforgettable midweek exploits by entertaining St Johnstone at Parkhead on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

"We have given the players some time away to reflect and recover" - Neil Lennon
Skipper Scott Brown is again expected to be an absentee after missing the sensational win over Barcelona due to illness.

Meanwhile, full-back Mikael Lustig should recover from a knock and general soreness to the hip area. But Emilio Izaguirre, Thomas Rogne, James Forrest, Gary Hooper and Lassad were each set to remain on the sidelines.

"I am still enjoying the moment but obviously we have to get back to domestic duties," manager Neil Lennon warned Celtic's official website. "We have given the players some time away to reflect and recover and we will see how they all are tomorrow.

"It has been fantastic," he continued. "It may not have sunk in with the enormity of the performance and the occasion. It was pretty special, something I haven`t experienced before."

Callum Davidson, Paddy Cregg and Peter Pawlett are all on the way back for the visitors but this weekend could arrive to early for them.

Elsewhere, striker Craig Beattie and midfielder Jamie Adams are also considered doubtful.
