Manager Neil Lennon praised the contribution of striker Lassad following Celtic crushing troubled Hearts 4-0 at Tynecastle.

"We think he'll be a huge asset for us" - Neil Lennon
The 27-year-old Tunisian opened the visitors account with his second goal for the club - an excellent volley from a tenth-minute cross delivered by Kris Commons.

"Lassad came into the team and played very well," Lennon told Celtic's official website. "We've had to be very careful with him because we don't want to lose him again for a concerted period of time as we think he'll be a huge asset for us.

"He got a good 75 minutes against Hearts, which will do him the world of good, and his overall performance tonight was excellent," he added.

Celtic remained top of the table with their victory and a point clear of Hibernian, who themselves earned a late win at St Johnstone, with still a game in hand.
