Celtic taking nothing for granted

Celtic face their Scottish Cup fourth round replay at second division Arbroath on Wednesday evening.

"We are taking the game very seriously" - Neil Lennon
The two sides shared a 1-1 draw in the first game when the visitors claimed a shock late equaliser at Celtic Park.

However, since then the SPL champions have magnificently secured their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League and extended their current lead at the top of the domestic table in their last two games.

The Hoops will be missing both Kris Commons and James Forrest through injury but full-back Mikael Lustig and midfielder Paddy McCourt have each shaken-off hamstring problems.

Striker Gary Hooper has also recovered from a virus as the visitors look to confirm a fifth round trip to Raith Rovers.

"I haven't played there before so it will be a new experience for me and predominately for the players as well," manager Neil Lennon admitted to Celtic's official website. "We are taking the game very seriously. It's a different competition but one we have had recent success in and we would like to progress in it, so it's another important game."

Arbroath player-manager Paul Sheerin was reporting a fully-fit squad to select from.
