Celtic boss Neil Lennon was pleased to see Adam Matthews' first goal for the club but immediately demanded more from the Welsh international.

"His deliveries at times, especially in the first half, were of real high quality" - Neil Lennon
The 20-year-old full-back struck the only goal last night on the end of a surging run as the visitors finally accounted for stubborn second division opponents Arbroath 1-0 in their Scottish Cup fourth round replay at Gayfield Park.

"We have asked him to be a little bit more productive going forward," Lennon told the Sporting Life. 'Defensively he is excellent, one-on-one defending.

"In the last couple of games we have seen him play in a couple of great balls for goals and score a goal," he continued. "And he's capable of that, we see it training. His deliveries at times, especially in the first half, were of real high quality. Adam is a young boy who is developing brilliantly."
