Celtic striker Gary Hooper is being linked with a possible approach from Champions League rivals Juventus.
The Italian Serie 'A' leaders have long been in the market for a top striker and could move for the 24-year-old who has already scored thirteen times this season.
Hooper certainly has an outstanding record for Celtic since arriving from the humble surroundings of Scunthorpe United in July 2010. He has already scored 64 goals in 102 starts and remains contracted to them for the next eighteen months.
But continuing talks over extending his current deal have continued to stall with latest suggestions that he has rejected their most recent offer.
Juventus previously brought in Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner on loan at the start of the campaign but he has so far failed to impress and is yet to find the net in nine appearances.
The Dane has since undergone surgery and will now be out of action for three months after tearing a tendon in his thigh.
And it is Hooper's performances in Europe this season that have prompted an interest from the Turin giants, although ex-Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is understood to remain their top target.
Meanwhile, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Southampton, Sunderland, Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers are amongst other clubs who have shown an interest in Celtic's ace marksman.
