Skipper ready for hectic schedule

Celtic skipper Scott Brown says any thoughts of Juventus will be left firmly to one side as the SPL leaders concentrate on some important forthcoming games over the festive period.

After the visit of Ross County tomorrow the Hoops are in action against Dundee, Hibernian and Motherwell during the subsequent eleven days until their league programme finally closes down for a couple of weekends.

"We have six or seven weeks so we need to focus on that and not really worry too much about this Champions League," Brown told stv.tv. "We will wait for that to happen when it comes around.

"We have a lot of games coming up, four games in the next week and a half," he added. "It's going to be hard and going to be hectic. But after that we can sit down and chill out for a week and recharge our batteries."

Brown is certainly one of the players most in need of a rest having played with an ongoing hip problem throughout the season after cancelling recent surgery.
