Celtic look to sign-off with win

Celtic welcome the arrival of third-placed Motherwell to Parkhead in their final game before the SPL closes down for a couple of weeks.

"We are Celtic players and we don't like to lose, we always want to win" - Mikael Lustig
Manager Neil Lennon was hoping that defenders Charlie Mulgrew and Adam Matthews would both bit fit enough to feature.

But forward trio Kris Commons, James Forrest and Anthony Stokes are still missing with injuries.

"Hopefully we can play a good game against Motherwell, score some goals and get back on track," defender Mikael Lustig told BBC Scotland. "I think we were the better team against Hibs, but that's football and if you don't score it is hard to win.

"The attitude and character we showed was brilliant at times," he continued. "But we are Celtic players and we don't like to lose, we always want to win. We always think we should score goals."

Motherwell were expecting defender Shaun Hutchinson to recover from hamstring trouble.

Following the game the SPL goes into shutdown for a fortnight's winter break, during which time Celtic's players travel to a training camp in Spain.
