Latest signing Rami Gershon has expressed his total delight at joining Scottish champions Celtic.

"I know this is one of the biggest clubs in the world" - Rami Gershon
The Israeli defender arrives on loan from Standard Liege until the end of the current campaign. On completion of that, Celtic then have the option of making the arrangement permanent.

"Celtic are a very big club and even when I was young I always knew about the club," Gershon told Celtic's official website. "So when I got the opportunity to come I didn't need to think twice about it - I wanted to come.

"Everything excites me about joining Celtic," he continued. "I know this is one of the biggest clubs in the world, they have won a lot of championships in Scotland and are the biggest club in Scotland. They also have a lot of history in European competitions."

The 24-year-old has already joined his new team-mates for training at their specially arranged camp in Spain ahead of their return to SPL action on Saturday week.
