SPL leaders Celtic return to league action following the mid-season break with a visit from Hearts to Parkhead on Saturday afternoon.

"We want to cement our place at the top of the league" - Neil Lennon
New signing Rami Gershon could earn himself an immediate debut after arriving on loan from Standard Liege. Striker Anthony Stokes is also back in the squad having recovered from injury.

But latest recruit Tom Rogic is currently awaiting a work permit following his signing from Central Coast Mariners for a fee of in the region of £400,000.

"The players are looking forward to getting back to playing," manager Neil Lennon told Celtic's official website. "It's a big week. We want to cement our place at the top of the league and go into next weekend full of confidence."

Hearts are missing suspended duo Marius Zaliukas and Ryan Stevenson while Scott Robinson is also ruled out with a knock. His fellow midfielder Mehdi Taouil is a doubt with a foot injury and long-term victims Danny Grainger and Jamie Hamill remain sidelined.

But defender Andy Webster and goalkeeper Mark Ridgers are both in contention.
