Celtic skipper Scott Brown believes his side must show more of their killer instinct over the rest of the season.

"We need to kill teams off earlier in the game" - Scott Brown
The Hoops may have put four goals past Hearts at the weekend but Brown is keen for them to regularly turn their clear superiority in games into goals.

The leaders face Dundee United in a re-arranged fixture at Parkhead this evening, aiming to extend their current nine-point lead at the top of the table. That is followed by a League Cup semi-final date with St Mirren at the weekend.

"We've got Dundee United and then a big game at Hampden on Sunday," Ledley told Celtic's official website. "So the Juventus game has been put to the back of our minds at the moment, so we're just going to continue and try to get a few more points at home in the
league.

"We need to kill teams off earlier in the game, particularly at Celtic Park when we're playing so well and we've had so many chances," he added. "We just need to put a few more in the back of the net."

Celtic 4 Aberdeen 1

Celtic surged to the top of the Scottish Premiership with a 4-1 victory against Aberdeen at Celtic Park.

Leigh Griffiths' early opener was soon cancelled out by Adam Rooney, but James Forrest restored the home advantage ahead of the break.

However, the champions were forced to wait until the closing stages when Scott Sinclair converted an 87th minute penalty after Mark Reynolds was sent-off.

Midfielder Tom Rogic then curled a delightful free-kick in the final minute.
