Welsh midfielder Joe Ledley has urged Celtic to forget their disappointing Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final defeat.

"Hopefully we can get a fantastic result against Juventus and go from there" - Joe Ledley
Hopes of a domestic treble were finally ended as St Mirren secured a surprise 3-2 victory to confirm for themselves a final meeting with Hearts in March.

"We've got the SPL, the Champions League and the other cup as well," Ledley told the Daily Record. "We just need to concentrate on those, take it game by game and rebuild and go again.

"We've had a fantastic achievement already to get into the last 16 of the Champions League and hopefully we can get a fantastic result against Juventus and go from there," he added. "We know it's going to be difficult but hopefully we can achieve it."

Celtic moved into the Champions League group stage despite a 4-3 qualifying play-off second-leg defeat at FC Astana.

The Hoops already carried a resounding 5-0 advantage from the opening game, but it was suddenly reduced when Dimitri Shomko's 26th minute effort was deflected into his own net by Kristoffer Ajer.

However, Scott Sinclair soon curled a superb reply, although Serikzhan Muzhikov and Patrick Twumasi both struck during a two-minute spell early in the second-half.
