Defender expects tough challenge

Celtic defender Kelvin Wilson was expecting a tough clash at St Johnstone tomorrow evening.

The Hoops should certainly approach the contest in excellent spirits following their weekend 6-2 demolition of Dundee United at Celtic Park.

That leaves them currently a massive eighteen points clear at the top of the SPL table and well on course for a second consecutive triumph.

"I felt we were brilliant from the start against Dundee United," Wilson told Celtic's official website. "They are a good side so it was a great result.

"St Johnstone are also a good side and are good going forward," he added. "So it will be a good challenge. With the lead we've built, I think it works out if we win every game it would be the end of March we would win the league, so it makes sense to try and achieve that as soon as possible."
