Skipper expected to miss Juve

Skipper Scott Brown is expected to miss Celtic's Champions League clash with Juventus next week.

"I am hoping that we will get a definitive answer by the end of the week" - Neil Lennon
Manager Neil Lennon is currently awaiting for a specialist's report on Brown's long-standing abductor problem, and the 27-year-old is already a major doubt for Scotland's World Cup qualifying double-header against Wales and Serbia.

"He is out indefinitely," Lennon confirmed to BBC Scotland. "We are still waiting to hear from the specialist, whether he requires surgery or not and I am hoping that we will get a definitive answer by the end of the week."

Meanwhile full-back Mikael Lustig will also miss the trip to Turin with a thigh injury but Charlie Mulgrew (glute) should recover in time.

"Lustig is out for two to three weeks, it is bone bruising so it could even be longer. So I imagine he will miss Juventus," Lennon added. "We are hoping Charlie will be fit for Juventus and the game at the weekend."
