Lennon blasts display

Neil Lennon criticised the attitude of his players after Celtic threw away an early two-goal lead at Ross County.

"There's some of them who look as if they don't want to be here" - Neil Lennon
Charlie Mulgrew and Gary Hooper both struck during the opening quarter of the game but the home side recovered to eventually win 3-2 during injury-time.

"I'm expecting better from Celtic players," Lennon told BBC Scotland. "I know I can get better, but there's some of them who look as if they don't want to be here any more.

"I want players here who are prepared to roll their sleeves up, but in the last couple of games I've not really seen that," he warned. "A lot of them are not really here mentally."

Runaway leaders Celtic still hold a commanding fifteen-point lead at the top of the table despite their weekend setback.

When is Neil Lennon going to stop blaming the players for displaying a bad attitude, over and over again? It is his job to instill a better attitude, or at least only field players who demonsrate one. The arrogance shown by this team comes from above. Lennon spoke last week of having nothing to play for except the cup! Really? When was the SPL wrapped up? Did I miss something? This responsibility is Lennon's so stop palming it off on players!
