Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley has insisted he wants to remain at Parkhead next season following rumours of his possible return to former club Cardiff City.

"I haven't heard anything about a move at the moment so I can only assume it's just paper talk" - Joe Ledley
The Bluebirds are currently strong favourites for promotion to the Premier League and were recently linked with Welsh international Ledley, 26, who spent six years with them until joining Celtic in July 2010.

"Aaron Ramsey actually told me about the story that Cardiff City wanted me back if they go the Premiership," Ledley told the Daily Record. "They are certainly looking good for promotion. They are clear at the top and have an excellent squad.

"I haven't heard anything about a move at the moment so I can only assume it's just paper talk," he added. "I still have another year with Celtic and I'm happy with the way things have gone as it has been a brilliant season."
