Lennon hails strike duo

Celtic manager Neil Lennon hailed his latest forward partnership following their 3-1 win against Trabzonspor.

"It wasn't just the goals, it was the way they played - their overall contribution was fantastic" - Neil Lennon
Teemu Pukki and Amido Balde were paired together and responded with a goal each as the Hoops comfortably secured their place in the final of the Turkish Airlines Antalya Cup.

"They were great and worked really hard," Lennon told Celtic's official website.
"They needed the game and the goals will give them a lot of confidence, but it wasn't just the goals, it was the way they played - their overall contribution was fantastic.

"Amido was really in the mood and gave Trabzonspor all sorts of problems," he added. "Teemu started the game really sharply and on the front foot, and he carried that on for the whole 80 minutes he was on the pitch. And that's what we want out of them."
