There certainly won't be any calls for a break from Celtic defender Efe Ambrose, despite manager Neil Lennon promising to give his title-winners time-off before the end of the season.

"I don't think I need a week off. I always prefer to play" - Efe Ambrose
Along with his regular international duties, the 25-year-old Nigerian centre-back has experienced a hectic schedule ever since joining the Hoops in August 2012. But that's exactly how he likes it.

"I don't think I need a break or a rest. I just like playing football because I enjoy it," Ambrose told Celtic's official website. "When you start playing for the national team you don't really get a break.

"At the end of the season you're involved with the national team and then, before you know it, you have to come back for pre-season so it's been like that for the past four or five years," he added. "For me, I don't think I need a week off. I always prefer to play."
