Celtic boss Neil Lennon is still keeping a watching brief on his Australian midfielder Tom Rogic.

"Tom is still our player, and he will be coming back here" - Neil Lennon
The 21-year-old schemer was loaned to Melbourne Victory in January in a bid to build up his overall fitness but a recurring groin problem has since restricted him to the sidelines.

"Putting Tom out on loan to Melbourne
was a chance to get games with the World Cup coming up," Lennon told the Glasgow Evening Times. "We felt, all in all, with him being back home as well, it would be more comfortable for him. But, Tom is still our player, and he will be coming back here.

"Tom found it difficult adapting to the pace of the game here at times," he added. "In pre-season last year, he looked very good. But, when the season actually got going, we just felt he was still a yard off it."
