Celtic began Ronny Deila's reign with a 3-1 friendly success against Russian opponents FK Krasnodar in Austria.

Anthony Stokes immediately opened the scoring when chipping over the goalkeeper after just 70 seconds but Odil Akhmedov levelled seventeen minutes later.

However, Celtic then struck either side of the break through Stefan Johansen and Callum McGregor to complete the victory.

Deila had actually made wholesale changes at the interval with Leo Fasan, Adam Matthews, Eoghan O'Connell, Calum Waters, Stuart Findlay, Beram Kayal, Liam Henderson, Teemu Pukki, Leigh Griffiths, Bahrudin Atajic and McGregor all entering the action.

Celtic: Zaluska, Lustig, van Dijk, Mulgrew, F. Twardzik, Brown, Johansen, Commons, McGeouch, Stokes, Boerrigter
