Celtic earned a 1-1 draw with Dynamo Dresden in their latest pre-season game in Germany.

The visitors handed a debut to new goalkeeper Craig Gordon, although it was Kris Commons soon giving them an early lead following good work between Teemu Pukki and Callum McGregor.

But after making multiple-changes at the break, Celtic were pegged back midway through the second period by Sylvano Calvanious.

Pukki had already produced an early save from Benjamin Kirsten, whose opposite number Gordon fended away from Marvin Stefaniak, by the time Commons struck on eight minutes.

It continued to be an open contest with Sinan Tekerci spurning a decent opportunity for the Germans and Adam Matthews clearing well.

Beram Kayal and Pukki forced keeper action in reply, while the hosts had a number of chances they failed to take just prior to the break.

Celtic's substitute keeper Lukasz Zaluska denied Stefaniak upon the restart before Calvanious bundled in a 68th minute equaliser.

Dresden's Tekerci later clipped the woodwork with a first-time effort - but their opponents' attention now switches to Tuesday's vital Champions League second-leg clash with KR Reykjavik.

Celtic: Gordon (Zaluska 46), Matthews (Lustig 46), Ambrose (O`Connell 46), van Dijk (Findlay 46), F.Twardzik (Izaguirre 46), Kayal (Johansen 46), Biton (Mulgrew 46), McGeouch (Griffiths 46), Commons (Henderson 41) McGregor (Boerrigter 46), Pukki (Fridjonsson 46)

Celtic were handed a second heavy drubbing by Paris St-Germain in their Champions League Group B encounter at Parc des Princes.

Both Neymar and Edinson Cavani scored twice for the hosts after Moussa Dembele had given their visitors a shock first-minute lead.

Kylian Mbappe, Marco Verratti and Dani Alves were similarly on target as the French side secured their biggest-ever Champions League win.

The only consolation for Celtic was that Anderlecht were defeated 2-1 by Bayern
