Celtic boss Ronny Deila promised his side would recover from the massive disappointment of exiting the Champions League.

"Next year in this situation we're going to go through" - Ronny Deila
A two-goal home defeat to Legia Warsaw added to their heavy first-leg 4-1 loss in Poland and means a Europa League play-off round spot when that draw is made later this week.

"We didn't play as a Champions League team," Deila admitted to BBC Radio Scotland. "We have to perform much better than that. We have to win the league.

"It was not good enough. They got two easy goals, again, and that's worrying me," he continued. "We are very disappointed. We're going to rise up and we're going to perform much better, win the league again, and next year in this situation we're going to go through."

Ronny is simply out of his depth. In a game where we needed goals, three strikers left on the bench? Ronny is doing exactly the same as Tony Mobray did. Its always everyone else to blame. This present squad clearly don't respect this little known, self proclaimed genius! Tank him now and let JC take chanrge before we start being chasers in Scotland too.

This Celtic team swept all before them last season, yet this clown thinks he needs a complete new team! He does, away from Paradise!

I don't think you boys want to see JC in charge - he's one of the reasons Hibs are in their current state. He'll want to blood youngsters who aren't good enough or physically ready. His eye for a player is also atrocious. Very surprised he's even at Parkhead as no.2. Foisted on Delia from above per chance?

Celtic surged to the top of the Scottish Premiership with a 4-1 victory against Aberdeen at Celtic Park.

Leigh Griffiths' early opener was soon cancelled out by Adam Rooney, but James Forrest restored the home advantage ahead of the break.

However, the champions were forced to wait until the closing stages when Scott Sinclair converted an 87th minute penalty after Mark Reynolds was sent-off.

Midfielder Tom Rogic then curled a delightful free-kick in the final minute.
