Debutant signs new deal

Debutant signs new deal

Weekend debutant Michael Johnston has signed a new three-year contract at champions Celtic.

The eighteen-year-old forward penned his deal following the latest 4-1 victory against St Johnstone.

The youngster has already been part of the club's Youth Academy since the age of nine.

"It was literally straight after the final whistle," Johnston told Celtic's official website. "Once I got changed, I went straight in and got the deal signed.

"I have played for this club for about 10 years and I have supported them my full life so to make my debut and then sign the contract and commit my future here is unbelievable."
