We played like under-12s - Rodgers
Brendan Rodgers said his Celtic side had performed like schoolboy players during their 5-0 defeat to Paris St-Germain in the Champions League.
The Hoops crashed to their biggest European home loss following strikes from Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani (2) and a Mikael Lustig own-goal at Celtic Park.
"You have to look after the ball and make it work for you and, first half, we didn't do that - we played like under-12s at times," Rodgers told BBC Scotland. "It is confidence, it's belief. We are obviously missing some decisive players that can help us at this level, but it is always going to be very, very tough. That is the reality.
"I don't want to be too tough on the players," he admitted. "This is the potential champions of the tournament we are playing and, with where we are at, with all due respect and where these guys are at, it's not just one or two levels, it's three or four levels beyond us."
