Rodgers praises goalscorer
Manager Brendan Rodgers praised striker Leigh Griffiths following the 2-0 victory against Old Firm rivals Rangers at Ibrox.
The 27-year-old marked his one-hundredth appearance by claiming his sixty-seventh goal for the club after midfielder Tom Rogic had already given the visitors the lead.
"To come into a club like this and score that number of goals in 100 games, it's brilliant," Rodgers told BBC Scotland. "He goes into every game he plays believing he can score.
"It's what he is, he's done it all his life," he added. "The goal was perfect, the second one, in terms of our build-up play. It was a wonderful pass from young Pat [Roberts] to free Griff up to score. So it's an exceptional achievement."
