Defender to learn from setback
Celtic defender Kieran Tierney insists that both himself and Scotland's other youngsters will most definitely learn from their heartbreaking World Cup exit.
Needing a victory to earn a play-off spot, the Scots could only draw 2-2 in Slovenia at the weekend - thus missing out on a first place in the finals since 1998.
"I'm only 20 and that was my first campaign involved with the squad so I've still got a lot to learn," Tierney admitted to the Daily Record. "One thing is for sure I will learn a lot from the experience because it is not something you ever want.
"As time goes on maybe we'll be able to look back at the results and be proud of what we achieved as a squad," he added. "The first few games didn't go to plan obviously. To bounce back from those setbacks and embark on the run we are on says a lot for the squad."
