Record may never be beaten - Rodgers
Brendan Rodgers says Celtic's record unbeaten domestic sequence may never be surpassed following it finally ending with a 4-0 defeat at Hearts.
The Hoops' incredible 69-game unblemished run was their first reversal since being overturned 2-1 at St Johnstone back in May 2016.
It also marked Rodgers' first domestic loss after being appointed as manager for the start of the 2016-17 campaign.
"They've set a record that may well never be beaten and they can be very proud," he told BBC Scotland. "We hit the reset button and look to get three points in our next game.
"Now that the run is finished, we want to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible," Rodgers added. "I need to give credit to Hearts. It's a thoroughly deserved win; they were the better team. We didn't cope with their physicality and made too many mistakes."
