Defender signs new deal

Defender signs new deal

Young full-back Anthony Ralston has signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract keeping him at Celtic Park until at least the summer of 2022.

The nineteen-year-old has already made seven first-team appearances, including starting at home to Paris St-Germain in the Champions League.

However, Ralston is currently on the way back from a knee injury having not played since September.

"This is where I want to be and I want to start playing more games," he told Celtic's official website. "I've enjoyed getting a taste of it and I'm looking forward to the future.

"It's been a good start for me in my career and signing the contract now, I'm just looking forward to getting on with my football over the next few years."
