The lead is restored. Armstrong cuts a beauty through the box. Eventually Dembele finds a yard of space and bangs it home! 3-1

You lose that type of goal when you have a midfielder playing at centre back. They don't follow the run as a proper CB would.

Well, it must be said that we were not great today. The last three matches have been pretty choppy. Result achieved but not great. If we are in the Europa League, Rodgers has got to get central defenders in during the January window. Jozo is simply not durable enough.

Totally agree. BR was bumping his gums about needing a new CB in January earlier today. We needed one during the effin summer, Brendan. Jozo is made of porcelain and erik is made of crystal. Boyata is hardly Mr Sturdy either. All three of those things were known before the summer window opened - and it's why most supporters were demanding that at least one proper CB be brought in. And that didn't include an inexperienced kid from South Africa; which seemed to be all we were fuckin getting!

On today, it was job done without being great. Would have been a lot easier had they not been gifted a woeful penalty. Armstrong was poor again and should never had started. The open spaces of hampden are ideal for Rogic. CalMac wasn't great either and had more than his fair share of misplaced passes. Can't be easy not being a regular starter, though. BR needs to have a word with Griff because he wasn't as fully committed today as he normally is. Prior to our last meeting with hibs Griffith's was saying how he wouldn't celebrate if he scored against them. After today he shouldn't be involved against them again. Totally unprofessional.

Boyata played well and you can't blame Bitton for not being a CB. Tierney okay in patches but not as involved as he usually is.

Roberts done nothing to merit taking a starting berth away from Forrest and I'm amazed he's kept him out this long tbh. It's plain to see the pace and directness that Forrest brings when he came on today and against Munich. I like Roberts, he's exciting to watch, although gives possession away quite a lot, but I'm not sure he's as effective for us as Forrest is - in both directions. If it's part of his loan contract then that's shite, quite frankly.
