Celtic stunned by fightback

Celtic scored twice during the opening quarter but Ross County fought back for an unlikely 3-2 victory at Victoria Park.

The visitors appeared to be coasting through early goals from Charlie Mulgrew and Gary Hooper. That was until Grant Munro and Sam Morrow levelled ahead of the interval and substitute Steffan Wolfarth nodded an injury-time winner.

The Hoops had earlier gone in front when after Beram Kayal and Hooper had already threatened, Mulgrew's fifteenth-minute corner somehow crept in at the far post.

Six minutes later Hooper collected from Dylan McGeough and chipped over goalkeeper Michael Fraser to extend the visitors' lead. And both goalscorers then combined for Hooper to head another opportunity wide of the far post.

However, Munro pulled a goal back on the half-hour when chesting down and volleying from 25-yard beyond Fraser Forster before Morrow turned in Iain Vigurs' cross at the far post just six minutes later.

Celtic striker Anthony Stokes was next to slice wide from a decent position while Mulgrew missed with a free-kick following the break before keeper Fraser blocked from Hooper.

Vigurs had already delivered a 30-yard free-kick wide in reply and Martin Scott then seized upon Efe Ambrose's loose back-pass until Forster gathered.

His opposite number Fraser was next called into action by Kayal and Hooper also struck the outside of a post before Wohlfarth poked an opportunity wide at the other end.

But the German substitute still had the final say when heading an injury-time winner over Forster to complete a dramatic turnaround.
