1 - 1

Celtic Park

Attendance: 58,060

Celtic equalled their own century-old British record of sixty-two unbeaten domestic games but were still held to a 1-1 draw by Kilmarnock at Celtic Park.

Striker Leigh Griffiths gave them the lead shortly before the interval, although that was cancelled out by Jordan Jones on the hour.

Manager Brendan Rodgers had earlier made six changes, including handing a chance to teenager Mikey Johnston - doubtless while considering the midweek Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich.

Both Griffiths and Tom Rogic proved wide during the initial exchanges while Kieran Tierney and Olivier Ntcham also saw efforts.

Mikael Lustig and Patrick Roberts added to those, until the latter was forced off with a hamstring problem and replaced by Scott Sinclair.

Celtic still went in front courtesy of Eboue Kouassi allowing Griffiths the opportunity of a first-time finish just a couple of minutes prior to the break.

Both Ntcham and Rogic tried their luck following the interval, but it was Jones with a sudden equaliser for the visitors after his initial effort had come back off an upright.

Kristoffer Ajer replied too high on the back of his own forceful run, while Rogic next hoisted over and substitute Moussa Dembele's shot deflected through to goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald.

His opposite number Craig Gordon then gathered Chris Burke's twenty-yard effort before goalscorer Griffiths was back testing MacDonald from long-range.
