St Johnstone 0 Celtic 4
Sat 4th Nov 12.30pm
Celtic broke their own century-long British record of 62 undefeated domestic games with a 4-0 victory against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.
Scott Sinclair gave them the lead before the half-hour, although it wasn't until with eighteen minutes remaining that Moussa Dembele added a second.
Saints' Steven Anderson then put through his own net and substitute Olivier Ntcham suitably rounded things off close to the end.
James Forrest had called goalkeeper Zander Clark into early action before Dembele soon found his clutches - while he also later smothered from Sinclair.
But the winger then instinctively finished from Stuart Armstrong's 28th minute corner to make the important breakthrough.
Clark next turned aside from Armstrong and Callum McGregor similarly went close, while Blair Alston's reply offered no serious threat to Craig Gordon.
Kieran Tierney also tried his luck after the break and Dedryck Boyata's header was in turn cleared off the line by Aaron Comrie.
The Hoops were in full control and following further attempts from McGregor, Armstrong, Nir Bitton and Dembele, left-back Tierney linked up with Armstrong for Dembele to locate the far corner.
Dembele's cross was then diverted into his own net by Anderson before substitute Ntcham fired in a late fourth to celebrate a flowing attacking move.
