Celtic 3 Greenock Morton 0
Sat 3rd Mar 12.30pm
Holders Celtic scored three times inside the last half-hour against Greenock Morton to move into the Scottish Cup semi-finals.
Moussa Dembele opened their account with a header before adding his second from the penalty spot.
Substitute Odsonne Edouard then increased the margin of victory in the final minute.
Marvin Compper made a long-awaited debut for the hosts, but it was Gary Harkins delivering an early free-kick wide for their Championship opponents.
However, Dembele soon went close as Thomas O`Ware cleared from the line after a cross by James Forrest.
The recently recovered Tom Rogic then curled wide while Harkins prompted only a routine response from goalkeeper Dorus de Vries.
His opposite number Derek Gaston next kept out Rogic from the edge of the area; that after Jozo Simunovic had found only the side-netting.
Edouard replaced Scott Sinclair at the interval and saw an early second-half opportunity before Andrew Murdoch replied wide of the mark.
Olivier Ntcham also threatened as Gaston saved again, until Dembele headed in Rogic's 62nd minute cross via the underside of the bar.
Nine minutes later Dembele was brought down inside the area by Michael Doyle and appropriately converted from the spot.
Both Edouard and Dembele were close to another before the former wrapped it up with the aid of a slight deflection at the end.
