Key player focus: Fraser Forster The English Giant
Fraser who? was the sentence many Celtic fans uttered when this young man was signed on loan for the season, with names like Shay Given and Timo Hildebrand being laundered about it was no surprise.

A club like Celtic deserves the best and he most certainly isn't, or so we thought. But he has been somewhat of a revelation between the sticks, helping get results that otherwise would have ended in draws or defeats. He is commanding, very sharp to react and for a man of his size very agile as his save against St Johnstone proved, with multiple bodies blocking his view he managed to get down at the last second to turn the ball round the post.

He is highly regarded by the Newcastle United staff and is seen as one for the future, he is currently number three although it fluctuates between him and Tim Krul and prising him away from Newcastle will be no easy task. He has also had one season in League One with Norwich City winning the league outright and achieving a 50% clean sheet record. His time with Norwich was what alerted Neil Lennon to him as former Celtic captain Paul Lambert referred him to Lennon.

What does the future hold for Forster, England career? perhaps, top flight English football most definitely. Hopefully Celtic can prise him from Newcastle although it won't be cheap, either way he'll play key role this season.
